“The Prophet gave us the Koran, and left us just five obligations to satisfy during our lives. The most important is to believe only in the one true God. The others are to pray five times a day, fast during Ramadan, and be charitable to the poor.” This is what the crysal merchant said to Santiago because he just trust to beginner’s luck or the principle of favorability about his dreams. This part, the merchant remind to believe just in God, whatever your dreams just obey God’s rule, so that God will make easy your path to reach you dreams.

I still like Santiago character, he really has a strong will. Santiago also always makes every his plans into real action. In this chapter, he smart to seducer the crystal merchant to sell the tea use crystal glasses on the hill, he just want to make the store more expand than before. And the merchant never thought about this, because the merchant never be brave to expand his store. Yet, from Santiago, the merchant learn about this. “You have been a real blessing to me. Today, I understand something I didn't see before: every blessing ignored becomes a curse. I don't want anything else in life. But you are forcing me to look at wealth and at horizons I have never known. Now that I have seen them, and now that I see how immense my possibilities are, I'm going to feel worse than I did before you arrived. Because I know the things I should be able to accomplish, and I don't want to do so.”

I think in this part so many knowledge for me, because the next travel of Santiago, he met with new people. They have owned story about their life, about their survive from the obstacle of life. “The land was ruined, and I had to find some other way to earn a living. So now I'm a camel driver. But that disaster taught me to understand the word of Allah: people need not fear the unknown if they are capable of achieving what they need and want. "We are afraid of losing what we have, whether it's our life or our possessions and property. But this fear evaporates when we understand that our life stories and the history of the world were written by the same hand.” The camel driver taught me to be brave if we lose everything that we have, just yielding to God’s will.
